Our company

The Newman Group is the trade name of NJNRE Holdings LLC, a real estate investment company based in Vestavia, Alabama. The company is led by Josh Newman and co-owned with Noah Newman, Birmingham-area investors.

We buy residential properties directly from owners and sell our interest in those properties to investors on our buyers list. We act only for our own account.

Our story

The Newman Group started with a builder's eye. Before he ever bought a house to resell, Josh Newman spent years building, renovating, and restoring homes, with projects featured in Southern Living and Cottage Living. Since then he has worked on more than $15 million in real estate deals, and he still walks every house the way a contractor does, seeing what it could become and what it will take to get there.

Josh founded The Newman Group in Vestavia with his son, Noah, who leads our acquisitions. Noah brings five years of experience as a wholesaler and a designer's eye, so he can spot a good deal and picture what a house can become. Together they buy houses across greater Birmingham, mostly single-family homes and small multifamily, and sell them for our own account to investors and homebuyers. That means you deal with us directly, with clear terms in writing and closings at a local title company.

Rob Buechler and Walker Pittman run our sales. Rob brings nearly a decade in operations and recruiting and has spent the last two years working with investors across the country. Walker was born and raised in Birmingham and spent three years at Sherwin-Williams working alongside local contractors and investors. Both are focused on helping Birmingham's neighborhoods grow.

We're a father-and-son business, and we want every deal to work for everyone involved.
